The Simputer Trust (TeST)

The Simputer Trust was registered as a charitable trust in 1999 with the broad goal of harnessing the potential of Information Technology for the benefit of the weakest sections of society.

The Simputer project has brought together people from two entities: Computer Science and Automation Department of the Indian Institute of Science and Encore Software (formerly Ncore technologies).
